Rocky Boy reaches Northern B title game before falling to Poplar

The Rocky Boy boys basketball team is headed back to the Class B state tournament after finishing second at the Northern B Divisional this weekend in Shelby. The Stars clinched a berth at state by beating Wolf Point Friday night, but fell to Poplar in the championship game Saturday. For more on the Stars, see Tuesday's Havre Daily News.

The Rocky Boy Stars have been red-hot in the postseason. Unfortunately, the Stars ran into a team that got hotter at the Northern B boys tournament in Shelby.

Saturday night, Rocky Boy fell to the Poplar Indians 68-58 in the Northern B championship game, but the Stars are still heading back to the Class B state tournament, which starts Wednesday in Belgrade.
