Brown selected for national young leaders conference

This summer, Mateo Brown from Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation will join outstanding middle school students from across the nation to take part in a unique academic and career-oriented development experience, Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C.

The conference is one of the Envision family of programs that enable students to explore their interests and experience learning beyond the classroom.

Brown was nominated to attend the forum by his sixth-grade teacher at Box Elder Middle School. In addition to his high achievement in academics and his school's music program, Brown is also passionate about his culture and plays baseball on local Havre teams.

"As an alumna of Envision myself, I am excited for Mateo Brown to meet, work, and collaborate with other high-aspiring students from across the country," said Amanda Freitag Thomas, SVP for Envision.
