Havre Police Department

A student at Havre Middle School asked Friday at 10:07 a.m. to speak with an officer.

Joshua Kay Blatter of Havre, 29, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants at the police station at 2:19 p.m. Friday.

--

Edward James Lewis of Havre, 67, was issues a summons on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and violation of conditions of release after a caller at a Third Avenue business reported at 4:48 p.m. Friday seeing a man who "needs to be checked on."

--

Cody Daniel Plainfeather of Havre, 26, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and open container in city after a caller on First Street Northeast reported Friday at 8:56 p.m. seeing a man passed out in a stairwell.

--

An officer stopped on First Street Saturday at 1:44 a.m. to assist a man who had fallen on the ice.

--

Officers were asked Saturday at 1:58 a.m. to assist Hill County Sheriff's deputies with a vehicle stop on Second Street.

--

Dayle Delesse Tucker of Havre, 56, was issued a summons on charges of "other" and dog at large, after a caller on Second Street reported Saturday at 9:31 a.m. a dog bit a girl walking down the street.

George E. Hofer of Havre, 58, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants Saturday at 12:20 p.m. on Second Street.

Brianna Jimmi Gardipee of Box Elder, 23, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants Saturday at 1:46 p.m. during a vehicle stop on U.S. Highway 2 West.

A Third Avenue caller reported a power line was down at 12:16 a.m. Sunday.

--

The theft of two 30 racks of beer from a First Street business was reported Sunday at 2:06 a.m.

--

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported Sunday at 5:57 a.m. at a First Street business.

--

A water main break on Third Street was reported at 8:26 a.m. Sunday and referred to another agency.

--

Shawn Edward Sargent of Havre, 45, was issued a summons on a charge of driving under the influence Sunday at 3:54 p.m. during investigation of a vehicle crash.

--

Taylor Rae Strike of Havre, 19, was issued a summons on charges of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, and Cali Terese Brien of Harlem, 20, was issued a summons on charges of negligent endangerment and reckless driving, after callers at 14th Avenue and Third Street reported eight to 10 people were fighting at 9:57 p.m. Sunday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies were called to investigate vandalism on First Street Northwest in Box Elder Friday at 11:35 a.m.

A Box Elder caller asked for assistance Friday at 1:27 p.m.

--

Puppies were reported found Friday at 2:19 p.m. on Beaver Creak Park.

--

Bryan Clayton Heath of Havre, 30, was arrested on charges of failing to stop for traffic control signal and DUI, undetermined level, during a 2:04 a.m. vehicle stop at Seventh Avenue and Second Street Saturday.

A caller on U.S. Highway 2 East reported Saturday at 5:04 p.m. sliding into some vehicles.

--

Medical marijuana was reported found at a U.S. Highway 2 West business at 10:59 a.m. Sunday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Friday, three calls Saturday, two Sunday and one Monday.

--

Firefighters responded to an alarm activation at 4:57 p.m. on the 10 Block of 13th Street. The wire to some electrical equipment melted and the smoke set off the alarm, but no fire was started. The alarm was reset.

--

Firefighters responded at 12:17 a.m. on the 600 Block of Third Avenue to a report of a power line down. NorthWestern Energy also sent a crew, and the line was determined to be a cable.

--

Firefighters responded to what turned out to be an unintentional alarm activation Sunday at 8:28 a.m. on the 900 Block of 18th Street. The alarm was reset.

Firefighters responded to a gas smell reported at 4:36 p.m. on the 400 Block of Sixth Avenue but did not detect a smell or find any problems.

Havre Animal Shelter

   The Havre shelter this morning held two medium-hair cats, two long-hair 8-month-old kittens, one long-hair 10-month-old kitten and a medium-hair 7-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and one medium-hair female cat. Seven cats are also being held for the shelter's trap-spay-neuter-release program.

   The Havre shelter also held this morning four female mixed-breed dogs, female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male mixed-breed 16-week-old puppy, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-Australian shepherd dog, three 8-week-old pit bull terrier puppies, two male and one female, one male pit bull terrier dog, a male mixed-breed 6-month-old puppy and a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog.

Births

A boy and a girl were born Thursday, March 14, 2019, to Ashley and Garrett Sherwood of Havre.

A girl was born Friday, March 15, 2019, to Sierra Flammond and Ricky Clark Jr. of Havre.
