A second Kehr becomes a Skylight

Columbia Falls' Ryley Kehr inks with MSU-Northern women's hoops, joining sister Peyton

Columbia Falls Wildkat Ryley Kehr goes up for a shot during a Class A basketball game this past winter. Over the weekend, Kehr signed an NAIA national letter of intent to play for the Montana State University-Northern Skylights of head coach Chris Mouat. Kehr is the younger sister of Northern sophomore Peyton Kehr.

The Montana State University-Northern women’s basketball team is about to have a sister combo.

Over the weekend, MSU-N head coach Chris Mouat announced that Columbia Falls senior Ryley Kehr has signed an NAIA national letter of intent to play basketball for the Skylights starting next fall. Kehr joins her sister Peyton on the MSU-N roster. Peyton just wrapped up an outstanding All-Conference season for Northern.

“It will be fun to have the two of them here together,” Mouat said.
