BOZEMAN — Montana State University Academic Technology and Outreach is offering a new workshop to help people who are transitioning into leadership positions.

The day-and-a-half-long program, which will be held from April 24-25 at Homewood Suites in Bozeman, offers practical skills that will help leaders motivate, direct and support team members, as well as increase their personal productivity and drive results for their organizations.

Kathy Wojcik, owner and founder of the Bozeman coaching and consulting firm Bluheron, will instruct the workshop. Wojcik is a professional leadership coach and a senior professional in human resources and holds a master’s degree in business administration. She has also worked in organizations globally, including Pfizer, Corning, Bausch & Lomb and Harley-Davidson.

The program, which is based on the book “The New One-Minute Manager” by Ken Blanchard and Spencer Johnson, will use classroom learning, simulations and activities. Each participant will receive a copy of the book.

Additionally, attendees can take part in two free, post-program, online group meetings to support and reinforce learning throughout the coming months.

Registration for the workshop costs $299 until April 4 and $329 afterward. To register or for more information, visit http://bit.ly/19SALEAD or call 406-994-6550.
