Havre Police Department

An arrest was made after a 12th Avenue caller reported a suspicious man at 2:29 p.m. Thursday. No details about the charges were provided.

Someone stopped at the police station Thursday at 4 p.m. asking for assistance and officers made a referral to another agency.

James Lawrence Daychild of Havre, 47, was arrested on an aggravated assault charge after a caller at a Ninth Avenue business reported Thursday at 9:28 p.m. a man who had been assaulted "pretty bad" had showed up at the business.

A First Street West caller reported at 1:47 a.m. today that a man in a blue jacket, black pants, and a red and gray hat stole a Twisted Tea.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Marvin Dale Spotted Bird of Havre, 24, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and Tyrell Wade Nault of Box Elder, 19, was arrested on two state District Court warrants, all served at Hill County Detention Center Thursday at 12:14 p.m.

Fidelia Minnie Antelope-Overberg of Havre, 43, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Thursday at 1:08 p.m. at Hill County Detention Center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Thursday and one this morning.

Firefighters were called to the 2100 Block of Highway 2 West for a smoke call, but the smoke was coming from an oil-burning stove.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held three medium-hair cats, one long-haired cat, one short-hair cat, a medium-hair 15-week-old kitten and a medium-hair 8-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and two medium-hair female cats. One cat was being held for the trap-spay/neuter-release program.

The Havre shelter also held this morning four female mixed-breed dogs, one male mixed-breed 6-month-old puppy, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a female mixed-breed 15-week-old puppy and a male pit bull terrier dog.
