Letter to the Editor - Thanks to all involved in Women's Expo

Dear Editor,

The Havre Area Chamber of Commerce wishes to thank everyone involved in the Women’s Expo that was held this weekend. Saturday was a great success with 300-plus attendees browsing the 60-plus booths. Sunday’s weather hampered the event a bit, but we still enjoyed the day.

A big thanks goes out to the vendors that traveled to our area for the two-day event, from as far away as Sidney.

As an entry fee either one dollar or a can of food was collected. The food has been delivered to the Havre High School food bank. More than 100 cans were donated.

Thanks much to the Tourism Business Improvement District for their help in granting us some advertising funds and as always thank you to New Media Broadcasters, the Havre Daily News and the Havre Herald for continuing coverage of all Chamber of Commerce events.

The Events Committee and Chair Tera Verploegen did an outstanding job putting on the Expo and they deserve much credit.
