Havre Police Department

A 10th Street caller reported a phone scam Friday at 8:44 a.m.

James John Russ McConnell of Havre, 43, was arrested on a federal warrant at the police station Friday at 11:32 a.m.

A two-vehicle, non-injury crash on Fifth Avenue was reported Friday at 1:45 p.m.

--

An arrest was made after a Washington Avenue caller reported Friday at 2:24 p.m. that two dogs killed her chickens. No details on the charges were provided.

Friday at 4:03 p.m. a First Street caller reported someone wrote a check against his account.

A summons was issued after police initiated investigation of a driver with a suspended license Friday at 6:37 p.m. No details on the charges were provided.

Officers provided assistance, after a caller reported two semitractor-trailers were blocking the road near 19th Avenue West and U.S. Highway 2 West Friday at 7:52 p.m.

Officers investigated after a caller at a First Street West establishment reported Saturday at 12:18 a.m. someone smoking marijuana on or around the property after being asked to leave.

Matthew Michael Converse of Rocky Boy, 42, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants when an officer investigated suspicious activity at First Avenue West and Second Street West At 12:47 a.m. Saturday.

Albert Leo Colantuono of Havre, 25, was arrested on a charge of driving with suspended or revoked driver's license, after an officer initiated a vehicle stop on Eighth Street Saturday at 5:18 p.m.

Garreth Jon Robertson of Havre, 18, was arrested on charges of aggravated driving under the influence, failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, brake light violation and minor in possession, during a vehicle stop in Havre Saturday at 5:23 p.m.

A caller reported Saturday at 8:21 p.m. finding a bank deposit bag on the sidewalk on First Street.

Wayne Edward Eagleman of Box Elder, 52, was arrested on a probation violation charge after a caller at a First Street establishment reported a man on probation was in the business Saturday at 9:12 p.m.

A 14-year-old was arrested on charge of partner or family member assault and Nicole Dawn Whitford of Havre, 38, was arrested on charges of DUI and failing to carry proof of insurance in vehicle after a 14th Street caller reported people yelling at 2:44 a.m. Saturday.

An officer initiated an investigation during a vehicle stop on Montana Highway 234 Sunday at 2:50 a.m.

--

Mike Thomas Rider of Haver, 36, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller reported at 7:42 a.m. Sunday that a van was being driven a bit crazily and the driver might have a warrant.

A caller asked Sunday at 11:39 a.m. to speak with an officer about an internet scam.

--

Sunday at 12:58 p.m. a Second Street caller reported a 55-inch TV was stolen and a bedroom was ransacked.

--

Officers were called Sunday at 3:31 p.m. to assist the county on 11th Street West.

A Washington Avenue caller reported at 3:34 p.m. Sunday finding two holes in the front window of their house.

--

A Fifth Avenue caller reported Sunday at 6:15 p.m. that a house window was vandalized.

Aaron James Goodian of Kremlin, 41, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property after a 10th Avenue caller asked Sunday at 9:01 p.m. for assistance.

--

A possible stolen vehicle was reported on First Street at 2:27 a.m. today.

--

A 15-year-old was issued a summons on charges of MIP and juvenile curfew violations after a caller reported seeing a suspicious couple on Second Street today at 2:41 a.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

   A Secondary Road 432 caller in Rudyard reported Friday at 9:50 a.m. that road signs had been knocked down.

   A crash between a Ford Focus and a truck was reported Friday at 4:53 p.m. on U.S. Highway 2 West.

   --

   James Martin Flying of Hays, 36, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Friday at 11:14 p.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

   --

   Northern Montana Hospital Saturday at 12:02 p.m. reported a dog bite.

   --

   At 2:20 a.m. today an arrest was made on U.S. Highway 2 during a vehicle stop. No details on the charges were provided.

Montana Highway Patrol

   Montana Highway Patrol responded to a single vehicle rollover crash on 18th Street in Havre Saturday at 3:51 p.m. Four minors where in the vehicle and two sustained minor injuries. A highway patrol trooper said that speed and distraction were factors in the crash. The crash was reported to the Hill County Sheriff's office at 3:48 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to seven calls Friday, six calls Saturday and one call Sunday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held four medium-hair cats, one short-hair cat, one long-hair cat, a medium-hair 17-week-old kitten and a medium-hair 8-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and two medium-hair female cats. One cat is being held for the trap-spay/neuter-release program.

The Havre shelter also held this morning three female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male shepherd dog, a male miniature pinscher dog and two male mixed-breed 21-week-old puppies.

Births

A boy was born Thursday, May 2, 2019, to Ashley Nicole Allderdice and Jarret Gregory Jacobi of Big Sandy.
