Northstars head to Great Falls

Austin Delarosa and the Havre Northstars American Legion baseball team plays a non-conference game tonight against the Great Falls Chargers in Great Falls.

The Havre Northstars American Legion baseball team will be back on the diamond tonight, in what starts a lengthy road trip.

Havre will travel to Great Falls tonight to take on the Class AA Great Falls Chargers in one nine-inning game. The game was originally schedule to be played in Havre and against the Great Falls Chargers A, but, this season, Great Falls is fielding only one legion baseball team.

On Sunday, May 19, the Northstars will head to Conrad to open their 2019 Northern District season, with a doubleheader against the Tri-County Cardinals before heading back to Great Falls to take on the Chargers again on May 22. Following that game, the Northstars will be off until June 1, when they host Fort MacLeod Royals at Legion Field. Havre also plays host to the annual Havre Jamboree June 7-9.

Tonight’s game between the Northstars and Chargers is set for 6 p.m. at Centene Stadium in Great Falls.
