Havre brush chipper only running through May

Havre Public Works Department has announced that, due to the city’s workload, it will only be operating the brush chipper through the month of May.

After May 31, if a property owner would like tree branch removal they must follow the City Ordinance 8-3-6 (E) which states all branches and shrubbery to be cut and bundled in 4’ lengths for disposal. The city asks that the bundles be placed near the trash cans but not to block access to driveways or garage doors.

For all other disposal the landfill has an area set aside for branch disposal.
