Lions Swim Team holds fundraiser with new coach

In the midst of a new season with a new coach, the Havre Lions Swim Team is holding a Pizza Hut fundraiser Thursday to help pay the team’s expenses.

Coach Hayley Coursey took five swimmers to a meet in Great Falls Saturday, and the team is holding a swim camp from June 12 to July 3.

The swim camp flyer says the event will run from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week with a “fun swim meet” the last day.

The cost is $50 with registration June 11, and participants do not have to attend every day, the flyers says.

Thursday, people wanting to support the team can say they are donating when paying for a dine-in or carry-out purchase at Havre Pizza Hut and 20 percent of the purchase price will be donated to the Lions Swim Team.
