Local Golf Report: Please send me your golf news

From Tee to Green

This week marks the final stretch for area high school golfers.

With the Class B and Class C state tournaments being held this week, I would like to take this time to wish all of our area golfers from Chinook, Box Elder, Rocky Boy and Harlem, good luck at your respective state tournaments. We should have results in next week’s From Tee to Green.

Meanwhile, all adult golf leagues are rolling along on the home front.

Last week at Prairie Farms Golf Course, Rock Solid earned high-team honors with 23 points on Tuesday night. The team was composed of Gary Stremcha, Joe Sarmento, Dave Sheppard and Thomas Kline. Jim Kirkpatrick shot a one-under 35 to take low gross for the night, while Shawn Keely was low net with a 31.

Last Wednesday night saw BPCU take high team with 20.5 points. The team was made up of Jeremy and Jeff Jensen, Brian Lilletvedt and Lunar Evans. Jeremy was low gross with a one-under 35, while Doug Sheppard and Brandon Moomey shared low net at 33.5.

In ladies league last Thursday night, Independence Bank earned high team with 25 points. The team was composed of Julie Mariani, Teresa Brown, Terry Lilletvedt and Pam Veis. Sarah Spangler was low gross with a 38, while Mariani was low net with a 29.5.

As spring starts to transition into summer, I’d also like to remind all of our local golf readers to please send in all league and tournament results, so that they can be published in this column. Feel free to also send pictures of winning teams from all of our local summer tournaments. Once again, we want all your results and golf news in this column, each and every week.

All results, photos and information can be sent to me at [email protected].
