Conservation project in central and northeastern Montana takes on saline seeps

BOZEMAN — Agricultural producers in Cascade, Chouteau, Daniels, Fergus, Judith Basin, Petroleum, Roosevelt, and Sheridan counties can sign up for the Environmental Quality Incentive Program to reclaim saline seeps at their local USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service office between May 15 and June 14, 2019.

The Montana Saline Seep Reclamation Project, proposed by the Montana Salinity Control Association, received funding through NRCS’s Regional Conservation Partnership Project.
