Independence Bank promotes Skiff

Independence Bank announced that Joanna Skiff has been promoted to assistant vice president of operations.

Skiff joined the bank in 2007 and has been working as the operations officer with supervisory responsibility over Operations since January of 2016.

In her new position, Skiff will oversee deposit management and growth in addition to her supervisory responsibilities over deposit relations, new accounts, tellers and bookkeeping. She also works closely with a team of senior managers to oversee new technology initiatives and ongoing system management for both customer facing products and the in-house core system. Skiff will continue to

provide leadership in operations to all of the Independence Bank branches including Havre, Malta, Glasgow, Poplar, Scobey and Conrad.

"Joanna's promotion to assistant vice president is the result of her knowledge, experience and management of our Operations Department at Independence Bank," Independence Bank President and CEO Miles Hamilton said. "We know that, under Joanna's leadership, we will continue to see a commitment to provide the products and technology that result in a great customer experience."

Skiff was raised in Malta and has lived in Havre for the last 16 years. She enjoys spending time with her daughter and participating in outdoor activities including running, hiking and camping. She also enjoys spending time in Beaver Creek Park and is appreciative of all that it offers to area residents.
