Havre Police Station

A Washington Avenue caller reported Friday at 8:46 a.m. that a lawnmower was stolen out of a truck bed.

A summons was issued Friday at 11:46 a.m. after an officer initiated contact with a man on Fifth Avenue. No details on the charges was provided.

--

A two-vehicle crash between a truck and a car was reported at a First Street business Friday at 12:07 p.m.

--

Friday at 12:54 p.m., a 16th Street West caller reported a past burglary involving a stolen lawnmower and damage to window screens.

--

A 10th Street West caller reported Friday at 2 p.m. items were stolen out of a vehicle.

--

Valerie Rose Knoll of Havre, 47, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property after a Third Street caller asked Friday at 2:39 p.m. to have a woman removed from a rental.

Edward Scott Fields of El Sobrente, California, 57, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of dangerous drugs, and carrying dangerous drugs on a train, after a caller reported Friday at 3:08 p.m. a man got off Amtrak, was being disorderly and wouldn't leave the station.

A Sixth Avenue caller reported at 3:59 p.m. Friday that a wallet was stolen out of a truck.

Joseph Charles Big Knife of Box Elder, 30, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller reported Friday at 4:28 p.m. a man at the Second Avenue residence was threatening the caller.

A Friday 7:57 p.m. caller on 12th Street reported that his neighbor's vehicle scratched his vehicle.

Kim Alan Ironbear of Havre, 47, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, after an officer initiated investigation of suspicious activity on Second Street Friday at 9:02 p.m.

At 1:15 a.m. Saturday a caller on Second Street reported that a woman who had been assaulted came to his house.

Sarah Jean Nalder of Havre, 34, was issued a summons on charges of driving with a suspended driver's license and failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, after someone reported the incident at the police station Saturday at 7:32 a.m.

Chance Edward Williams of Havre, 28, was issued a summons at the police station Saturday at 8:08 a.m. on a charge of criminal contempt related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

--

Claudine Chiefstick of Havre, 55, was arrested on charges of aggravated driving under the influence, careless driving and motor vehicle theft, after a caller on Ninth Avenue reported Saturday at 10:09 a.m. that an intoxicated woman had stolen a vehicle and wrecked in a parking lot.

Officers assisted Hill County Sheriff's Office deputies Sunday at 11:18 a.m. on a report that transients were trying to get onto a train.

--

Nathan John Woodwick of Havre, 41, was issued a summons on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant Sunday at 1:53 p.m. during a vehicle stop initiated by an officer on Fifth Avenue Sunday at 1:40 p.m.

Monday at 7:32 a.m., a caller on 15th Street reported a flag pole was broken and a rebel flag missing.

Chance Edward Williams of Havre, 28, was arrested at the police station Monday at 8:01 a.m. on a charge of criminal contempt related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

Sarah Jean Nalder of Havre, 34, was issued a summons at the police station Monday at 8:02 a.m. on a charge of criminal contempt related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

John Melvin Birdtail of Harlem, 26, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a Fourth Street caller asked Monday at 3:12 p.m for assistance removing a man from a house.

--

Jared Scott Granados of Harlem, 29, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, a Monday at 11:53 p.m. during a vehicle stop on First Street West.

--

Michael Vincent Allen Berg of Butte, 25, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller at a First Street business reported today at 4:31 a.m. that a man was sleeping on the patio furniture.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A theft, forger or fraud was reported Saturday at 1:38 p.m. from 11th Avenue North.

George Timothy Healy of Fort Belknap, 57, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant at Hill County Detention Center Saturday at 3:10 p.m.

--

A caller on First Street Northwest reported Sunday at 11:12 a.m. that transients were trying to get on a train and deputies issued a verbal or written warning.

--

John Melvin Birdtail of Harlem, 26, was arrested on Justice or City court warrant at the detention center Monday at 5:50 p.m.

--

John Glenn Stratton of Havre, 36, was issued a summons on a traffic crime charge after a complaint from a Sixth Street caller Monday at 8:04 p.m.

--

James Richard Lowrance of Havre, 28, was issued a summons on charges of traffic crime and brake light violation, during a vehicle stop on First Street Monday at 8:38 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Friday, seven Saturday, two Sunday, two Monday and one early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three medium-hair cats, one long-hair cat, one 12-week-old medium hair kitten and a medium-hair 9-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and two medium-hair female cats.

The Havre shelter also held this morning two female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male shepherd dog and a female mixed-breed 7-month-old puppy.
