When my son, Drew, began his senior year out at Havre High, I always knew he would not be able to participate in the actual graduation ceremony with his classmates because of his autism. I got him a cap and gown hoping that he could somehow experience graduation but in his own way. After talking with his teachers and administration, it was decided a small ceremony could happen where he could get his diploma like his classmates would.
May 24, Drew and J.T. Binder both got their diplomas and it was not a small ceremony! They were able to walk across the stage already set up for Sun...
