Havre Police Department

A two-vehicle crash was reported at 13th Street and Saddle Butte Drive at 7:02 a.m. Wednesday.

Sarah Jean Nalder of Havre, 34, was issued a summons at the police station Wednesday at 7:08 a.m. on a criminal contempt charge.

Darius Richard Moreno of Havre, 46, was arrested on charges of failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and seat belt violation, during a vehicle stop on U.S. Highway 2 East at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday.

A caller at a First Street West business reported Wednesday at 4:02 p.m. a customer had said her car had been hit in the parking lot.

--

A Fifth Avenue caller reported at 4:34 p.m. Wednesday tires on two vehicles had been slashed.

--

Fraudulent credit card charges were reported by a Wilson Avenue caller Wednesday at 5:07 p.m.

--

An arrest was made during a vehicle stop on Second Street Wednesday at 8:20 p.m. No details were provided on the charges.

A First Street West business caller reported Wednesday at 10:34 p.m. that a man who has been using counterfeit money was in the store.

--

A caller reported Wednesday at 10:51 p.m. seeing three boys run into a backyard on Washington Avenue and thought they might be related to a previous incident.

--

An 11th Street West caller reported Wednesday at 11:07 p.m. a black and white Kent Ambush bike had been sitting in his yard since Monday.

--

A caller on Montana Avenue reported Wednesday at 11:34 p.m. that a Silver Chevrolet Impala had been stolen about 25 minutes prior.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies were asked Wednesday at 7:21 a.m. by Havre Police to be on the lookout for a red Dodge four-door sedan.

Sarah Jean Nalder of Havre, 34, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Wednesday at 7:47 a.m. at Hill County Detention Center.

A 23rd Avenue West caller reported Wednesday at 8:24 a.m. tools had been stolen Friday, May 24.

--

Rachel Diane Hawley of Hays, 37, was arrested on a criminal mischief charge at the detention center Wednesday at 2:27 p.m.

--

Wednesday at 9:49 p.m. deputies were asked to be on the lookout for assault suspects in the county.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four medium-hair cats, one long-hair cat, one 12-week-old medium hair kitten and a medium-hair 9-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and two medium-hair female cats.

The Havre shelter also held this morning two female mixed-breed dogs, a male mixed-breed 26-week-old puppy, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male shepherd dog, a male pit bull terrier dog and a female mixed-breed 7-month-old puppy.
