Obituary - Delbert Roy Wood

Delbert Roy Wood passed away November 20, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Billings, Montana, due to respiratory failure.

He was born March 16, 1952, to Henry J. and Verna J. Wood in Havre, Montana. He was raised on the farm in Gildford, where he attended grade school to high school and graduated May 1970. In Platteville he loved gardening and took pride in all the vegetables that were produced — he always spent a lot of time outside taking care of his garden. He moved to Montana in February 2018 and lived in senior housing close to his brothers until his passing in November.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Charity Lynn Wood; and his parents, Henry J. and Verna J. Wood.

He is survived by his daughter Jessica (Joshua) Talbot and three grandchildren, Annen, Eagan, and Eilidh, all from Canon City, Colorado; a son, Jonn William Wood, and grandchild Colin Wood of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his siblings, Wayne J. Wood of Roundup, Leland D. (Charity) Wood of Laurel, MT, Janet Baird of Idaho, and Kathy Wood of Missouri.
