Menu listed for next week's summer meals program

Havre Public Schools has announced its summer breakfast and lunch menus.

The programs run from June 10 through Aug. 9.

Havre Public Schools with its Simplified Summer Food Program for children is offering summer meals at two sites.

The summer meals are a continuation of a program it has sponsored for several years.

The meals will be served free of charge at Highland Park Early Primary School and Lincoln-McKinley Primary School to children 18 and younger, and at a cost of $3 for breakfast and $4 for lunch for people older than 18.

Breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 10:59 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The breakfast menu is, Monday, sausage wrap, fruit and milk; Tuesday, pancakes, fruit and milk; Wednesday, sausage egg muffin, fruit, milk; Thursday, cake donut, yogurt, fruit, milk, and Friday, French toast, fruit, milk.

The lunch menu next week is, Monday, cheeseburger, potato rounds, fruit, milk; Tuesday, chicken nuggets, rice, salad, fruit, milk; Wednesday, quesadilla, refried beans, corn, fruit, milk; Thursday, hot ham and cheese, carrots and celery sticks, fruit, milk, and Friday, Tony’s Pizza, green beans, fruit and milk.
