Jeffrey was born May 16, 1967, in Oxnard, CA, and lived in Oxnard for the majority of his life. He attended Oxnard high school, and was a member of the Chippewa Cree Tribe in Rocky Boy, Montana. Jeffrey's favorite job was working as a Casual Longshoreman in Port Hueneme, California. As his parents aged he became their caretaker, and was by their side on their last days.

Jeffrey was a very loving man who loved God, his Creator, and his children and family with all of his heart and soul. He was funny and was always ready to tell a joke to make us laugh. He was an amazing cook who could get anything and make a delicious meal out of it. He will be greatly missed. Please remember him as a loving, funny, kind and handsome man. He will remain in Paradise in our hearts and minds.

Jeffrey is survived by his two children, Matthew Scott Puga, and Erica Alyssa Puga, both of Oxnard, California;  sisters, Leana Wright Gopher and Judy Puga; brother Jesus (Guy) Rojelio Puga; sister-in-aw Rose Puga; nephews Jesus, Tony, Bobby, Manuel, and Rojelio; and nieces Tiffany and Jazmin.

Thanks to Leana Wright and Autumn and all the family members who came together to help and support this Celebration of Life to help send him on the next part of his journey.
