The Havre 12U All-Star team is headed to the 12U East State Tournament this week, but before the squad gets there, they had a victorious warm-up tournament last week in Lewistown.

The team, composed of Kash Keller, Matt Lemer, Jevin Jenkins, Tre Gary, Dax Ostwalt, Bodhy Lassle, Colter Solomon, Chason Mader, Tyson Brandon, Tanner DeLaRosa, Quinn Elliot, Ezra Pyle and bat girl Peyton Mader, bested Glendive, Miles City, Sheridan and North Central in the Lewistown Invitational, then beat Glasgow 7-2 in the championship game.

Now, it’s on to Glendive for the Havre 12U squad, for the 12U East Cal Ripken State Tournament. The state tourney is composed of Havre, Miles City, Big Muddy, Glasgow, Glendive, Belgrade and Bozeman.

Havre takes on Miles City Thursday at 8 p.m., then plays Glendive and Glasgow Friday, as well as Bozeman Saturday. The top six teams from round-robin play advance to Sunday’s single-elimination tournament, with the winner moving on to the 12U Regional Tournament.

The Havre 12U All-Star Team is coached by Brittnee and Oscar Delarosa, Ben Mader and Russ Ostwalt.
