Havre Police Department

Jose Albertoaguado Olin of Havre, 27, was arrested on charges of animal cruelty, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, after a caller on First Avenue reported two people yelling and kicking a dog at 6:47 a.m. Tuesday.


A Lincoln Avenue caller reported Tuesday at 9:44 a.m. finding a red boy's bike.


A Second Street caller asked Tuesday at 11:33 a.m. for a well-being check on a woman.


A fender bender was reported at Legion Lane and Center Street at 12:59 p.m. Tuesday.


Carolyn Sheets Johnsrud of Fort Benton, 67, was issued a summons on a charge of animal cruelty, after a caller at a First Street West business reported a dog locked inside a hot car.


Someone at a First Street West business asked Tuesday at 3:34 p.m. to speak with an officer.


A First Street Northeast caller asked Tuesday at 4:24 p.m. to speak with an officer about being scammed out of money.


Two juveniles were each issued a summons on a charge of juvenile curfew violation after an officer stopped to speak with them on Fifth Street at 12:48 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Tate Jamal Standingrock of Box Elder, 29, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and speeding, during a vehicle stop on Beaver Creek Road at 10:53 p.m. Tuesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Tuesday and one early this morning.


Firefighters responded to a smoke alarm, at 1:36 a.m. on the 800 Block of Fourth Street, but the cause of the alarm activation was just burnt bacon.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held one medium-hair cat, 10 10-week-old kittens and four 11-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, and two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat, one medium-hair female cat, and two medium-hair female 10-week-old kittens and one long-haired female cat.


The shelter also held this morning a male Lhasa Apso dog, a male shepherd dog, a male Australian cattle dog,-blue heeler-border collie cross, a female border collie 6-month-old puppy, a two male mixed-breed 10-month-old puppies, a shepherd-golden retriever 8-month-old puppy and a female mixed-breed 6-month-old puppy.
