A Friends of Beaver Creek Park logo covers the side of a new fire pit that was installed Tuesday at Beaver Creek Park south of Havre.
Work is ongoing to install new, high-quality fire pits at Beaver Creek Park.
Friends of Beaver Creek Park purchased eight more fire pits and installed them Tuesday morning at Camp Kiwanis to improve the campsites.
"The fire pits are all built, and they are all made of steel," Friends of Beaver Creek Park Board Chair Ursula Brese said. "They have Friends of Beaver Creek Park etched in there, so when you light the fire you can see 'Friends of Beaver Creek Park.'"
Central Machine & Welding owner Jason Tanner and his crew, Terina White and Drew Roehrm, built the fire pits.
