Trigg Mapes of the Havre 14U All-Star team throws a pitch at Legion Field earlier in the summer. His team will return to Legion Field this weekend to take part in the 14U State tournament. Havre will host both Belgrade and Glacier. The action starts Friday at 3 p.m.
The heart of summer is here and that means that baseball season is hitting the home stretch, not only for American Legion baseball, but also for youth all-star teams that have been traveling across the state for tournament after tournament.
This week, however, the Havre 14U All-Stars will be at home, as they are hosting and participating in the 14U state tournament, which will be right here in Havre, with all games being played at Legion Field starting Friday.
