Obituary - Clement Ray "Blue" St. Marks Chiefstick

Clement Ray “Blue” St. Marks Chiefstick, 44, passed Saturday, July 13, 2019.

His wake service began 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, with his funeral service 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, July 17, to take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rocky Boy. His burial will follow at the St. Mark’s Family Cemetery where he will be buried next to his mother, Dorothy.

Clement was born August 12, 1974, in Havre, Montana, to Dorothy Danielle St. Marks and Clement Chiefstick Sr. He was raised by his Auntie, Carma, in Minneapolis. He participated in the Boys & Girls swim team, he excelled at this sport and in the mid ’80s he made it to the Junior Olympics in Florida to compete. He was an adventurous spirit who enjoyed the outdoors walking, hiking and camping.

He made many crafts that included sewing and beading and considered himself a master chef, creating many American and Oriental dishes that his family and friends shared with him. Blue was a social guy who enjoyed the company of his friends, family and neighbors, along with the neighborhood dog Phil.

He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents, Alice Gardipee and Peter St. Marks; paternal grandparents, Pat and Amy Chiefstick. brother Stonechild Chiefstick; cousins Jennifer and Michael St. Marks. He will be greeted in heaven by many extended family he considered brothers and sisters.

Clement is survived by his sons, Blue and Brandon St. Marks Chiefstick; sisters, Athena Rehfeld, Kiara Pacheco, Alicia Escarcega and Celina Chiefstick; brothers Michael and Wesley St. Marks, Edward Rehfeld, Calvin Stump, Justin St. Marks, Chris Charlie; four grandchildren, Tinzley, Brandon, London, and Royce; numerous cousins and extended family.
