A wild, windy Great Northern Open Rodeo

Judd Applegate comes flying out of the cute during the saddle bronc riding at the Great Northern Open Rodeo Thursday night in Havre. The rodeo attracted contestants from the Hi-Line, and all across Montana.

Each year the rodeos are one of the highlights of the Great Northern Fair and over the past two days, patrons have gotten their fill with the Junior Rodeo taking place Wednesday night followed by the Great Northern Ram Open Rodeo Thursday night.

Both events took place at the Great Northern Fairgrounds and as far as the open rodeo Thursday was concerned, there was plenty of action from the cowboys and cowgirls who came to Havre to compete.

One of the biggest prizes is generally saved for bull riding and that was the case again at the Great Northern Open Rodeo as Clay Applegate walked away...
