Little Shell powwow set for Aug. 24

People are invited to join the Little Shell Chippewa Tribe for its annual powwow Aug. 24, at the First Peoples Buffalo Jump near Ulm,.

This traditional powwow features drumming, dancing, craft and food vendors. The powwow is free and open to the public. The cultural event starts at noon and grand entry will be 1 p.m.

In case of rain, the powwow will be held at the Heritage Building at the Montana Expo Park in Great Falls.
