Help asked for finding missing man

Family and friends of a man who went missing in the Denver region are looking for any word people can give them about him.

U.S. Marine Trey Cantrell was last seen about 3 a..m or 4 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, in Thornton, Colorado.

Cantrell is a Native American, 21 years old, is bald and wears glasses. He is about 6 feet, 1 inch tall, 150 to 160 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and gray canvas sneakers.

Thornton has connections to north-central Montana, is an enrolled member of the Fort Peck Tribes and has family ties to Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation.

On the Montana Missing and Murdered Indigenous People Facebook page, his mother, Cheyenne Rose Cantrell, posted that she has filed a missing persons report and tried to reach him through social media but is looking for any information anyone has.

“Please please please help this is the absolute worst worry a mother can go thru,” she posted “... Please understand this is completely out of his character.”

A flyer says people with information can contact Cheyenne Cantrell at 720-385-8732 or the Adams County Police Department at 303-654-1850, Case #12857.
