Potential harmful algal blooms reported in Beaver Creek Park

This photo on the Hill County Health Department Facebook page shows what appears to be a harmful algal bloom south of Havre.
Hill County Health Departments says on its Facebook page it has received reports of potential harmful algal blooms on Beaver Creek Reservoir and Bear Paw Lake south of Havre.
People are warned to use caution at those lakes to avoid exposure to potential harmful algal blooms and to keep pets out of the areas where they see algae.
Direct skin contact or inhalation of the toxic blue-green algae may cause irritation of the skin, eyes, nose or throat, and people may experience respiratory symptoms after exposure.
