July 20, 2019, the unimaginable happened for two beloved members of the Havre community.

Herb and Peggy Hanson were involved in a motorcycle crash. The couple were on a motorcycle ride near Cooke City, on the Beartooth Highway, for the Beartooth Rally when the crash happened.

Herb did not survive.

Peggy has been in the hospital since, recovering. Peggy spent many days in the intensive-care unit and is in a rehab hospital in Billings. Peggy has a long road of recovery ahead of her including possibly hav...
