MSU-Northern harriers shine in season-opening races

The 2019 cross country season got off to a great start for the Montana State University-Northern men’s and women’s teams.

Last Friday, Northern was in Helena for the Carroll College Early Bird Invitational, and both teams produced outstanding results.

The Lights finished in second place out of five teams, while the Skylights finished third out of five teams in attendance.

Altogether, there were 36 runners competing in the men’s race. Field Soosloff led the Lights running at 27:36.60, taking 6th place. Amos Taiswa took 7th place passing the finish line in 7th with a time of 28:11:.5...
