Havre Police Department

A 16th Street West caller reported Monday at 7:06 a.m. that a DeWalt impact gun was stolen from his pickup.


Someone stopped at the police station Monday at 1:15 p.m. asking to speak with an officer.


An arrest was made after officers investigated a man down on the ground Monday at 6:16 p.m. on First Street. No details on the charges were provided in the dispatch log, but Raymond Windyboy, who is named as an involved party, is listed in the jail roster as being held on a charge of disorderly conduct with $185 bond.


A Monday 6:50 p.m. caller reported a theft from a First Avenue West location.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Willian Aloysious Keller of Browning, 19, was issued as summons on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, during a vehicle stop on Clear Creek Road Monday at 7:03 p.m.


Travis Vaughn Standing Horn of Spokane, Washington, 41, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Monday at 8:12 p.m.

Montana Highway Patrol

Montana Highway Patrol investigated a crash reported at 6 p.m. Monday on Shepherd Road north of Havre. The patrol reports speed was a factor in the crash but alcohol was not. Minor injuries were sustained. The driver was wearing a seat belt but the passengers were not. All people in the vehicle were minors.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to seven calls Monday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held a medium-hair 7-month-old kitten, five short-hair 10-week-old kittens, three medium-hair 6-month-old kittens and three medium-hair 8-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, along with a male medium-hair 13-week-old kitten, two medium-hair 15-week-old kittens, two medium-hair female cats, one long-hair female cat and a female calico cat.


The shelter also held this morning a female Australian shepherd-border collie dog, one female and one male Labrador retriever dogs, a female mixed-breed 9-month-old puppy, a female corgi-pit bull 8-month-old puppy, a male mixed-breed dog and a male pit bull terrier 9-month-old puppy.


The shelter was also housing one 5-week-old female mixed-breed puppy, and six 9-week-old puppies and a female mixed breed dog were being fostered off-site.
