Havre Police Department

Everett Dale Windyboy of Havre, 66, was arrested on charges of shoplifting and trespass to property, after a caller at a First Street West business reported Tuesday at 11:15 a.m. a man stole two beers and left the store headed east.


A caller on First Street reported a vehicle crash between a Corvette and a GMC sport utility vehicle Tuesday at 1:36 p.m.


Milo Montgomery Moore of Havre, 27, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge, after a caller on Lincoln Avenue reported Tuesday at 2:35 p.m. their daughter was assaulted.


LeeJay Healy of Havre, 21, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after an officer initiated investigation of suspicious activity on Fourth Street at 2:49 a.m. today.


A vehicle theft was reported by a 10th Street caller at 5:10 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A Tuesday 8:01 a.m. report of a vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 2 West was referred to another law enforcement agency.


A rollover crash was reported at Wild Horse Road and Cottonwood Tuesday at 1:35 p.m. One person incurred a laceration to the head, and an ambulance and Montana Highway Patrol responded to the scene.


A Tuesday 9 p.m. report of a vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 2 West was referred to another law enforcement agency.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Tuesday and one call early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held a medium-hair 7-month-old kitten, five short-hair 11-week-old kittens, four short-hair 10-week-old kittens, three medium-hair 6-month-old kittens and three medium-hair 8-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, along with a male medium-hair 13-week-old kitten, two medium-hair 15-week-old kittens, one short-hair female cat, two medium-hair female cats, one long-hair female cat and a female calico cat.


The shelter also held this morning a female Australian shepherd-border collie dog, one female and one male Labrador retriever dogs, a female mixed-breed 9-month-old puppy, a male mixed-breed dog and a male pit bull terrier 9-month-old puppy.


The shelter was also housing one 5-week-old female mixed-breed puppy, and six 10-week-old puppies and a female mixed breed dog were being fostered off-site.
