When it comes to volleyball, the Malta M-Ettes have been a thorn in the side of are teams for years, but, last week, the tide got turned.

First, Chinook took down the M-Ettes in four games last Tuesday. The Sugarbeeters beat Malta by scores of 25-20, 25-8, 19-25 and 25-21 as Delaney Kellam had nine kills and three blocks, while Ginger Hauer had 25 assists and nine digs.

Then, Thursday night, it was Harlem's turn. The Wildcats have had a strong season thus far, and it got better when they beat the M-Ettes in a five-set thriller. Harlem won by scores of 25-14, 23-25, 25-15, 20-25 and 15-6....
