Bullhook Blossoms Garden Club features Peterson yard

What a difference a day makes!

This past Friday, Beth and Tom Peterson's yard at 710 13th Street was in full colors with orange and yellow marigolds, Beth's favorite - a peach colored rose named Easy Living in full flower and buds ready to bloom - out on the boulevard.

Along the driveway and in the back secluded yard there's a purple profusion of asters, a wood barrel full of purple petunias, clematis vines and a new addition since spring, her grandmother's periwinkle vine with one flower remaining.

Beth's favorites are the oriental lilies that bloom in the spring located along the wood fence in their back yard. There are delphiniums in bloom near the front steps in her favorite color, a cornflower blue.

There's orange honeysuckle vines and clematis of every color vining throughout the perimeter of the yard. Maybe, just maybe we can still wander by and catch a glimpse of fall before the Old Man settles in ...
