Domestic Violence Awareness Walk set for Saturday

District 4 Human Resources Development Council and the Hill County Health Department are partnering for the sixth annual domestic abuse awareness 5K run and walk Saturday, starting at the Western Drug parking lot at 123 Fifth Ave.

Sign up begins at 9:30 a.m. with the event start time at 10 a.m.

“It is just a way to raise awareness about the domestic abuse program we have here and the services we offer to domestic violence victims,” HRDC Domestic Abuse Program Shelter Manager Renae Miller said.
