Armin Willams gets a haircut and brow trim by Kellee May at the Veterans Stand Down 2018, held at District 4 Human Resources Development Council. A group of people from the VFW got together and organized this event which included multiple vendors including haircut, legal and health aids, to name a few. This year's Stand Down is at HRDC Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Fourth Annual Hi-Line Veterans Stand Down, an all-inclusive event for the entire community to assist veterans, is coming again Thursday, organizer retired U.S. Army and National Guard Sgt. 1st Class Scott Prindiville said.
"It brings a lot of veterans together and some of them just come to have lunch and socialize," Prindiville said. "... We get them the help they need."
