Havre Police Department

Havre Police Department dispatch log reported no arrests or investigations since Tuesday morning.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Brandy Elaine Winchell of Havre, 40, was issued a summons on a charge of possession of dangerous drugs, after a probation and parole officer asked of assistance at 4:03 p.m. Tuesday.

An arrest was made after a caller on River Road North reported a suspicious man at 3:56 a.m. today, but no details on the charges was provided.

Havre Fire Department

The call log for the fire department had not arrived before print deadline so numbers for emergency medical personnel could not be reported.

Firefighters responded to a fire alarm at 5:59 p.m. Tuesday on the 1200 Block of Washington Avenue where a plastic plate had melted in a hot oven, but the issue was taken care of prior to the arrival of the fire crew.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held four short-hair 14-week-old kittens, two medium-hair cats, a 16-week-old medium-hair kitten an a short-hair 13-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, a female medium-hair 11-week-old kitten, a short-hair female cat, three medium-hair female cats, a female munchkin-manx cat, a female calico cat and a female munchkin cat.

The shelter also held this morning a female Australian shepherd-border collie dog, two male Australian shepherd 10-week-old puppies, a male shepherd dog, a male golden retriever dog, a female Labrador retriever dog, a female mix-breed 10-month-old puppy, a male mix-breed Bernese mountain dog, a female Akbash dog, a female mix-breed ll-week-old puppy and a male mix-breed dog. The shelter also was housing one 8-week-old female mixed-breed puppy.
