Friday, Oct. 18

Northern Alumni Auction, 6 p.m., with doors open at 5:30 p.m., Student Union Ballroom, MSU-Northern. This fundraiser will have auctions, games, raffles and an appetizer bar. Cost is $30 per person. For tickets call 265-3711 or stop at Northern’s Cowan Hall Room 305.

3D Jackpot Barrel Race, 5:30 p.m. entry, 6:30 p.m. run, Bigger Better Barn, Great Northern Fairgrounds. All proceeds will be donated to Ronald McDonald House. Free for spectators. Cash only entry is $40 with $400 added. The 3D split is one second. Time-onlys will be 5:15-5:45 p.m., open riding 5:45-6:20 p.m.

"The Vorbit Incident," a Montana Actors' Theatre production, 8 p.m., MSU-Northern's Little Theatre. Doors and Backstage Lounge open at 7:30 p.m. The play, written by Missoula playwright Jay Kettering, is set in a missile silo near Great Falls. Cost is $15 for adults, $10 for students, seniors and military, and free to MSU-N students with a valid ID.

St. Jude Thaddeus School Pumpkin Patch, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Free hay rides, face painting, games, petting zoo, photo booth, crafts, bake sale, food, silent auction, raffle items and $1 pumpkin painting and train rides.

Domestic Violence Awareness Walk, 5:30 p.m., Fort Belknap Reservation: Agency area at Airstrip; Lodge Pole at Powwow grounds or Chief Nosey; Hays at Kills At Night; Dodson at front of the school. Drinks, snacks, glow sticks and more will be on hand for walkers.

Saturday, Oct. 19

Big Sky Little Britches Rodeo, 9 a.m., Bigger Better Barn, Great Northern Fairgrounds. Spectator admission is free to this youth rodeo hosted by Hi-Line Rodeo Team.

I would LOVE to see our community list more events in this section. So many times you hear from a friend that went to some event or fundraiser that you didn't even hear about. Would love to see any little thing going on in Havre to be posted here.

HPS Education Foundation hosting the annual HOLIDAY HOOPS Blue Pony alumni basketball games on Friday December 27th at the Havre Middle School. First game at 6:30pm. Players contact Tony at 390-6178 or Grayson at Master Sports. Fun for the whole family!
