Obituary - Mark A. Keeley III

Wednesday October, 9, 2019, Mark A. Keeley III was met at the gates of Paradise by his "little buddy," grandson Mark A. Keeley IV.

Cremation has taken place and internment and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

Mark was born May 3, 1952, in Havre, MT, to Mark A Keeley Jr. and Virginia Keeley. He attended school in Havre and graduated Havre High in 1970.

Mark met the love of his life, Sharon Cline, in the spring of 1969 when he was 16 years old. This chance meeting was the beginning of a lifetime together filled with children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mark and Sharon shared many adventures, big and small, over the last 50 years. Together they enjoyed picnics, camping, fishing, traveling and selling kettle corn after their retirement.

Mark was creative in his pursuit of providing for his family with his company the Montana Strongbox Company. He painted beautiful pictures, created amazing miniature replicas of old homesteads and churches and made thousands of clocks which he would travel Montana and North Dakota to sell. Mark was known for his high-quality woodworking. He crafted custom-made kitchen cabinets, vanities, entertainment centers and gun safes that many still have in their homes today.

In his free time, Mark loved to go turkey hunting, trapping, fly fishing and had recently starting painting again.

Mark was proceeded in death by his parents, Mark and Virginia Keeley, his son-in-law Steven Siefert, and his little buddy and grandson Mark Andrew Keeley.

Mark is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sharon Keeley of Gildford, MT; children Denice (Doug) Malley and Michelle Keeley of Kalispell, Lori Siefert of North Grafton, MA; grandchildren Jim (Brittney) Zach, Jacob and Austin of Kalispell, Melanie and Josh of North Grafton, MA; great-granddaughters who were the light of his life, Maddison and Gracelynn of Kalispell; sister, Carol (Ron), and brother, Rick, of Great Falls, brothers, David (Bonnie), John (Terri), Bill (Ellie), Terry (Gwen) all of Havre, and Tom (Kathy) of Maple Valley, WA, as well as one aunt, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
