Friday Night Lights: It's time to think playoffs

Even with two weeks left in the high school football regular season, many area teams are already in playoff mode

The Montana high school football playoffs don't begin until Nov. 2. But over the next two weeks, plenty of local teams will already be in full playoff mode.

This week marked the start of a key stretch for both the Northern C and Six-Man North Divisions.

In the new, 12-team Northern C, this week will see plenty of excitement as the league plays its seeding games for the upcoming playoffs.

Six teams from the Northern C will go on to the playoffs next month, and the champion of the Northern C will be either Fort Benton or defending state champ Great Falls Central.
