Plain Green helps Rocky Boy, Box Elder students stay warm

Press release

Plain Green's annual jacket event put on by Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation's online lending service, Plain Green LLC, is much-anticipated by students at Rocky Boy and Box Elder Schools.

Oct. 7-9, Plain Green donated nearly a thousand jackets to the schools and Head Start Program. The warm coats were chosen specifically for their durability, while featuring fashionable colors and designs that the students prefer.

"It was great to see an enthusiastic appreciation for the jackets because winter arrived early in Montana this year with a record-breaking snow storm in September," said Steve Parker, chief executive officer of Plain Green. "In addition to the backpacks and school supplies donated at the beginning of the school year, these winter jackets highlight our commitment to instill a love of learning in our community. When children feel warm, welcomed and have tools that spark their imagination, education becomes more fun, which is fundamental to a bright future. We look forward to continuing to support the education of our youth to the best of our abilities. We would also like to thank the school districts and their staff for helping us with these events, as well as their commitment to our children."
