Havre Police Department

Troy Tyler Tsosie of Havre, 30, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and trespass to property after a caller at a First Street West business reported Friday at 11:42 p.m. that a man was harassing people for money.

Saturday at 2:14 p.m., a caller on 10th Street West reported some medications were stolen.

--

A caller at the hospital reported a dog bite at 4:27 p.m. Saturday.

--

Roger Dale Decelles of Havre, 52, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after officers were called at 4:41 p.m. Saturday to assist with a medical call on U.S. Highway 2 West.

A caller at a First Street business said Saturday at 6:37 p.m. that the driver of a late-model gold Dodge pickup truck drover off without paying for fuel.

Leona Marie Chiefstick of Box Elder, 52, was arrested on a trespass to property charge, after a Second Street caller reported Saturday at 8:40 p.m. that a woman knocked then walked in a residence without permission.

George E. Hofer of Havre, 59, was arrested on a trespass to property charge, after a Third Street caller reported a peeping Tom Sunday at 1:57 a.m.

--

A counterfeit $50 bill was reported at a First Street business Sunday at 2:41 a.m.

--

Paige Alexis Nelson of Billings, 19, was arrested on charges of trespass to property, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and minor in possession, and Robert Maxwell of Fontana, California, no age listed, was arrested on an MIP, after a caller at an Montana State University-Northern residence hall reported a female trespasser Sunday at 3:17 a.m.

Charles Gabrielle Plante III of Havre, 18, was arrested on charges of trespass to vehicles, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and MIP after a McKinley Avenue caller reported at 5:58 a.m. Sunday they had caught a man digging through a vehicle.

Someone stopped at the police station Sunday at 9:36 a.m. to report lost or found property.

Darrin Kent Torgerson of Polson, 47, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and resisting arrest

Hill County Sheriff's Office

The sheriff's office dispatch log had not arrived by printing deadline due to technical difficulties.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Friday, four calls Saturday and two calls Sunday.

Firefighters were called to a gas leak on the 300 Block of First Street at 2:14 p.m. Friday. A small leak was found at the gas meter and a NorthWestern Energy crew arrived and were left to repair the problem.

Firefighters were called at 8:13 a.m. Saturday to Road 403 North where a fire had started and self-extinguished in a garage/shop building. The property owner asked if firefighters could investigate to determine what had caused the fire, but no conclusive evidence could be found.

--

Firefighters responded to an accidental alarm activation on the 1200 Block of Cleveland Avenue Saturday at 9:44 a.m., and they reset the alarm.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held four 13-week-old kittens of unknown gender, a female and a male short-hair cats, two male and two female medium-hair cats, a female calico cat and a female long-hair 15-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning one male and one female shepherd dogs, three male mix-breed dogs, a male mix-breed 16-week-old puppy, a male Akbash dog and a male mix-breed Bernese mountain dog. The shelter also was separately housing one female mixed-breed 12-week-old puppy.

Births

A girl was born Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, to Julie and Jeremy MacDonald of Box Elder.
