Havre Police Department

Officers were called to a two-vehicle fender bender on First Street Friday at 6:55 a.m.

Shawn Keith Rosette of Havre, 27, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia after officers were called to assist probation and parole officers on Ninth Avenue Friday at 10:55 a.m.

A summons was issued in an 11:54 a.m. Friday response to someone driving an ATV without plates. No details on the charges were provided.

John Joseph Bear Jr. of Havre, 31, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served Friday at 2:40 p.m. on Third Street.

A caller at a First Street business Friday at 3:46 p.m. reported the theft of a handheld Garmin GPS.

Officers investigated a 4 p.m. Friday call about a pedestrian getting hit by a vehicle on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest. Police Lieutenant Aaron Whitmer said this morning that an elderly male driver struct a young woman, who was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Acoya Nathan Gopher of Box Elder, 21, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller at a First Street establishment reported an intoxicated man was causing arguments Friday at 11:06 p.m.

Yancy Taylor Hawley of Havre, 22, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, after a 16th Street caller reported Saturday at 2:20 a.m. that a man was racing up and down the street.

A caller at a facility on Fifth Street reported a disturbance at 4:17 a.m. Saturday.

Officers investigated a Saturday 9:15 a.m. report of a man and woman fighting.

--

A Third Street caller reported Saturday at 10:53 a.m. that a home had spray paint and egg on it.

A Second Street Northeast caller reported Saturday at 2:10 p.m. that a mailbox and dumpster had graffiti sprayed on them.

Troy Tyler Tsosie of Havre, 30, was arrested on charges of trespass to property, after a caller at a First Street business reported a male trespasser on the bench outside the building Saturday at 3:05 p.m.

Joey Franklin Henry of Havre, 48, was arrested on a forgery-counterfeit money charge after a caller at a First Street West business reported counterfeit money Saturday at 4:23 p.m.

Two arrests were made after callers at a First Street establishment reported Saturday at 8:47 p.m. that a man and a woman were fighting in the middle of the road The Sunday Hill County Detention Center jail roster lists Joshua Guyton and Jacqueline Chiefstick, both named as involved parties in the dispatch log, as each being held on a disorderly conduct charge.

Wesley Julius Brekhus of Havre, 35, was arrested on assault charges after a caller at a First Street establishment reported an intoxicated man was trying to fight people Sunday at 12:58 a.m.

Jeremiah Mark Headdress of Havre, 18, was arrested on charges of minor in possession, resisting arrest, obstructing a peace officer of other public servant, disorderly conduct and driving under the influence, during a vehicle stop on 16th Street Sunday at 2:19 a.m.

Joshua Robert-Munroe Guyton of Box Elder, 23, and Jacqueline Colleen Chiefstick of Havre, 39, were each issued summons on two charges of shoplifting, after a caller at a First Street West business reported Sunday at 8:28 a.m. that a pack of Budweiser was stolen.

A caller reported Sunday at 1:58 p.m. that a vehicle struck a tree.

--

An Assiniboine Avenue caller Sunday at 4:12 p.m. reported a hit-and-run crash.

Officers were asked to assist Rocky Boy Police Department at the hospital Sunday at 6:27 p.m.

Officers were asked to assist Hill County Sheriff's Office at the hospital Sunday at 7:20 p.m.

--

An arrest was made after a Cleveland Avenue caller reported a man outside banging on the front door Sunday at 11:19 p.m. Dennis Freeman, who was named in the dispatch log as an involved party, was listed in the detention center jail roster as being held on a disorderly conduct charge and a probation hold.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies were called to a Box Elder establishment to investigate a theft, forgery or fraud Friday at 11:36 a.m.

Lindsay Dayle Doney of Hays, 33, was arrested on charges of shoplifting and criminal mischief vandalism and on a Justice or City court warrant, after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a shoplifter at 7:33 p.m. Saturday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Friday, six calls Saturday and four calls Sunday.

Firefighters helped rescue a cat from a chimney on the 800 Block of 17th Street Saturday at 11:04 a.m.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held three medium-hair cats, two long-hair cats, one medium-hair 15-week-old kitten, on medium-hair 10-week-old kitten, two long-hair 17-week-old kittens and one short-hair cat all of unknown gender, one female and one male short-hair cats, one male and one female medium-hair cats, a female long-hair cat and a female long-hair 17-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning three female Yorkshire Terrier-mix 17-week-old puppies, a male mix-breed 18-week-old puppy, a male Akbash dog, a female shepherd dog, a male mix-breed Bernese mountain dog, a male Australian Cattle dog-Blue Heeler mix dog, a female pit bull terrier-Labrador retriever mix dog and a male mix-breed dog. The shelter also was separately housing one female mixed-breed 14-week-old puppy, a female mix-breed dog and female mix-breed 17-week-old puppy.
