Havre Police Department

A caller reported Wednesday at 10:43 a.m. that someone had run into a speed limit sign near the cemetery.

Wednesday at 2:25 p.m., a television was reported stolen from Eighth Street.

A McKinley Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 6:31 p.m. a mailbox was knocked off.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Jesse Shane Valdez of Havre, 24, was arrested on a state District Court warrant, served at Hill County Detention Center Wednesday at 1:15 p.m.

Stephen Edward Gaddison of Collinsville, Alabama, 50, was arrested on a state District Court warrant at Wildhorse Port of Entry Wednesday at 3:35 p.m.

Rosella Mae Moore of Havre, 46, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants served at the detention center Wednesday at 5:23 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Wednesday and one early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a report of a gas odor on County Road 710 West at 7:56 a.m. Wednesday. No odor was detected before the scene was turned over to NorthWestern Energy.

Firefighters responded to a fire alarm on the 800 Block of Fourth Street at 3:24 p.m. Wednesday. This was a false activation and firefighters helped reset the alarm.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held three medium-hair cats, two long-hair cats, one medium-hair 15-week-old kitten, one medium-hair 11-week-old kitten, two long-hair 18-week-old kittens and one short-hair cat all of unknown gender, one female and one male short-hair cats, two male and one female medium-hair cats, a 13-week-old female medium-hair kitten, a female long-hair cat and a female long-hair 18-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning three female Yorkshire terrier-mix 17-week-old puppies, a male pit bull terrier dog, a male mix-breed 18-week-old puppy, a male Akbash dog, a female shepherd dog, a male mix-breed Bernese mountain dog, a male Australian cattle dog-blue heeler mix dog, a female pit bull terrier-Labrador retriever mix dog, a male mix-breed dog and a male mix-breed 26-week-old puppy. The shelter also was separately housing one female mixed-breed 14-week-old puppy, a female mix-breed dog and female mix-breed 17-week-old puppy.
