"I'm Dreaming of a Wine Christmas" Havre Daily News staff is offering this wine and treat survival kit to help the adults get through the holidays. The wine cart is stocked with 16 bottles of wine and eight wine glasses, plus an Italian meal-in-a-basket, so after just a few minutes of prep time you can pretend you're dining in a sunny Mediterranean bistro rather than being stuck in the snow. The wine table is topped with a festive table runner and a handmade serving tray that holds a selection of mini wines being guarded by a stylish angel figurine. For the patient drinkers willing to wait, the wine fridge included in this entry can chill six bottles. The wine chiller sits on a rustic wooden farm stand topped with a matching short runner and a small, maintenance-free Christmas tree decorated with handmade ornaments, including Lindt chocolates disguised as Santas to camouflage them from the children.

Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Line has highlighted more of the trees donated for the Festival of Trees fundraiser in the Boys & Girls Club Saturday, starting at 7 p.m.

Local people, groups, organizations and businesses decorate and donate the trees to be auctioned off at the festival.

Other fundraising events will also be held that night, and hors douevres and beverages will be served.

Tickets, which are $25 each, can be purchased by calling the club at 265-6206 or by visiting its website at http://www.bgchi-line.net/.
