Havre Police Department

Wednesday at 7:48 a.m., a caller at Sunnyside School reported hitting a pole with a Ford Escape.

Jennifer Fatima Denny of Havre, 53, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended driver's license, driving without vehicle insurance, aggravated driving under the influence and stop sign violation, after being stopped on Sixth Street at 11:52 a.m. Wednesday.

A Boulevard Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 12:46 p.m. that a neighbor's house had been hit by a U-haul.

--

A crash between a Chevrolet Colorado and a Toyota SUV was reported at 1:35 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson Avenue and 11th Street.

A Boulevard Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 2:20 p.m. that license plate had been stolen off a car.

--

At hit-and-run crash at fourth Street and Sixth Avenue was reported at 2:36 p.m. Wednesday.

--

Officers investigated a 911 hangup on Third Street Thursday at 8:01 a.m.

--

A Fifth Street caller reported Wednesday at 8:57 a.m. that a pistol had been stolen from a vehicle.

Three arrests were made after officers investigated a vehicle hitting a sign on 18th Street Thursday at 9:24 a.m. No details on the charges were provided, but three people named as involved parties were listed in the jail roster this morning. Darrell Gardipee was being held on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, habitual traffic offender, careless driving, failure to stop, failure to give notice of an accident, minor in possession, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and probation violation. Lola Demontiney and Kelyssa Main were each being held on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.

A Second Avenue caller reported a hit-and-run crash Thursday at 11:09 a.m.

A summons was issued or arrest made after a 15th Street caller reported Thursday at 2:48 p.m. that a vehicle had hit a parked car. No details on the charges were provided.

Two arrests were made during a vehicle stop on First Street Thursday at 5:13 p.m. No details on charges were provided.

--

A Ninth Street caller reported Thursday at 9:34 p.m. that snowboarding gear had been stolen.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Kaylie Blarie Charlton of Malta, 27, and Tanner Lee Thompson of Malta, 27, were each issued a summons on a shoplifting charge, after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business caller reported shoplifters at 12:53 p.m. Wednesday.

Jonnie Michelle Potter of Dodson, 26, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft at 2:29 p.m. Wednesday.

Leslie Ann Cochran of Harlem, 42, was arrested on a shoplifting charge and on a Justice or City court warrant during a 3:45 p.m. vehicle stop on Eighth Avenue that was related to a 3:39 p.m. report of a shoplifter at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Gina Kirkpatrick Schmitte of Rudyard, 48, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge related to a Thursday 3 a.m. report from First Street Northwest in Rudyard of a female on property and 7:28 a.m. complaint from the same caller.

A caller a Hill County Detention Center reported an assault Thursday at 8:47 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Wednesday and three Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held four cats and four kittens of unknown gender, two male and three female cats, and two male and two female kittens.

The shelter also held this morning a male pit bull terrier dog, a male Akbash dog, a female mix-breed dog, a female shepherd dog, a male mix-breed Bernese mountain dog, a male Australian cattle dog-blue heeler mix dog, a female pit bull terrier-Labrador retriever mix dog, a male mix-breed dog and a male mix-breed 6-month-old puppy.
