Tester nominates Havre student to military service academy

U.S. Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont., announced Monday he is nominating four students from this region including Havre’s Cameron Pleninger to the nation’s most prestigious U.S. military service academies.

Tester selected a total of 34 Montana nominees to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy based on their academic accomplishments, extracurricular activities, and commitment to serving and leading in the United States military.
