Three injured in head-on collision

Havre firefighters and paramedics prepare a backboard for the passenger in a blue Ford Taurus at a car crash on U.S. Highway 2 near Ben Franklin Crafts and Triple Dog Brewing Co. in Havre Tuesday at about 2:30 p.m.

The two westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 2 were closed off in front of Ben Franklin Crafts and Triple Dog Brewing Co. because of a two vehicle crash which occurred at about 2:30 p.m.

The crash was head-on collision between Ford Taurus and a Pontiac.

Havre Fire Chief Mel Paulson said that two people were in the Ford and two people were in the Pontiac. He added that three of the people were transported to Northern Montana Hospital for minor injuries.
