Two cars crash into cow on Highway 87

Two separate vehicles were reported Monday at 5:59 p.m. crashing into a cow on U.S. Highway 87.

Rocky Boy and Havre both sent ambulances to the crash site near mile marker 95, about 6 miles north of Box Elder.

Cattle are frequently reported near the highway in this area and six people had reported cattle on or near the highway in that region earlier in the day on another report was called in 15 minutes before the accident.
